Oi with the poodles already!

So the last few days my grandparents(Nana and Papa) came over from Arizona with my cousin Callie, and my great-grandma. it was actually pleasant. besides Callie's incessant scoffing, and the fact that Nana's an airhead and my Papa's a gun-happy old man. it was rather fun. I had a great time talking to my great-grandma. she is actually a really funny person. well they got here on Saturday, but unfortunately I had to go to a stupid 4-H thing, and therefore wasn't home until half the day was over. Well the weekend was kind of uneventful other than that, we went to San Diego on Sunday and I finally got to go surfing, although I'm not that good at it, and stupidly left my sunglasses on my head not noticing that they were there until right before I wiped out. Monday and Yesterday were uneventful, except that we had dinner at Mimi's Cafe. But the best thing to happen this weekend was that I bought roller skates! I found them at Goodwill for like $10-$20. I don't remember how much they were. I am so happy because the minute I saw them I had a vision of James Cagney's kids roller-skating in the house, in 'One, Two, Three' when they find out that Scarlet Hazeltine is pregnant, and the doctor is checking her after she passes out. I've seen this movie far too many times. It's just so funny. but getting back to the point those kids went through my head, as well as Drew Barrymore's character in 'Whip It', which is what everyone else thought of when they saw them in me. apparently I am just so violent that when I ware roller skates people automatically think of a way I can hurt others in them. although when my brother Eric saw them he gave me a look that said, 'are you kidding me? do you want to die?'. I'm actually not that big of a klutz, I just attract bad crap I guess. well it's late. must go. Good night.
